Hasmik Geghamyan is an interdisciplinary lawyer specializing in corporate governance and compliance, climate adaptation law, land justice, and community business transactions. Hasmik advises nonprofit organizations, Indigenous communities, and social purpose businesses on various legal issues affecting incorporation and governance structures; labor law; federal, state and tribal compliance; climate adaptation regulation; and co-management plans. Hasmik serves on the boards of two national nonprofit organizations and is a contributing author to the first California Worker Cooperative Law Practice Guide for lawyers advising worker cooperative corporations. Hasmik's vision for a just and ecological society mobilizes an integration of multi-sector collaboration and decolonial methodologies that informs policy making and governance. A perennial hiker and flower sniffer, Hasmik believes in the power of transnational jazz as an instrument for collective liberation.
