Emily Belding
Graduate Research Assistant
Emily Belding is a Graduate Research Assistant at Farallon Strategies. Emily is pursuing a Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. Emily’s Master’s specialization is in Sustainability Management with a focus on decarbonizing city systems and the role of transportation for community wellbeing and decarbonization. She recently finished her role as ESG Fellow on the Corporate Sustainability team at Crowley, a maritime and logistics company, where she focused on stakeholder engagement and data analysis. She has previously interned in the Office of Congressman Cartwright (PA) and at the Alliance to Save Energy in Washington D.C. before working for 2 years in Japan. In her spare time, Emily volunteers with Ecology Action as an EV Purchase Guidance Ambassador and walks along the Monterey Coastal Recreation Trail to see the otters.
