Farallon Strategies is excited to welcome Julia Kim to the team as our Partnerships Lead. With over a decade of experience in the climate and energy field, Julia is passionate about supporting California communities in responding to the climate crisis and building community resilience.
Julia holds an M.P.P. in Environmental Policy and International Security & Economic Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has an extensive background working alongside community-based organizations, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. From project management and facilitation to strategic planning and implementation to policy advocacy and coalition building, she is adept at bringing community visions to life.
Julia approaches her work collaboratively, ensuring that projects align with locally defined priorities while leveraging existing assets and resources. She is committed to advancing equitable and inclusive climate solutions that address the needs and priorities of diverse and vulnerable populations.
Her passion for cultivating joy, connection, and a deeper sense of shared purpose in the climate movement makes her an invaluable addition to our team. In her free time, Julia enjoys surfing in the Santa Cruz waves, hiking, and exploring unique ecosystems around the world. Welcome, Julia!
